This is not the first time though, just that i forgot all about it...
This is one of the photos I took during our trip to Shanghai.
The Bund: According to our host, these are the old German settlements before WWII.
Pls. notice the European Architecture of the Buildings.
Pudong high rises... hahain na it pilipinas? though we don't hear much about China and if ever there is news about them, mostly it is negative... it is amazing to see so much progress in Shanghai. It is a big city where Manila would be eclipsed with its infra's beauty.
Old temples: this shows an old tile roof of a temple with some statues of maybe the emperor during the time this temple was built. A very rich culture... a very old one too. So long... more to come.

cool pics. i could never forget how my Grade IV history teacher defined China: sleeping giant.
but from the looks of it, china is not sleeping anymore.
i wish i could be in beijing in 2008. (either in the closing or opening ceremonies of the olympics.)
