Nakasakay ka na ba hin Railway Transit? Subway Train? Bullet train?
Just some thoughts the convinience it brings... I believe most politicians did have a chance to experience this kind of transportation... It may be on their trip to the US, or other parts of Asia and Europe.

I can imagine myself being in Manila during the weekend and be back to Cebu before monday using bullet trains and saving travel time costing less less than the Airfares. Or maybe opting to go to Borongan to visit our families and be back to the City in no Time at all...
Right now, the shortest travel time from Cebu to Borongan is 9 hours. That is 2hrs (Supercat) from Cebu to Ormoc, 2Hrs (JD Busline) from Ormoc to Tacloban, and 3.5hrs(Van) from Tacloban to Borongan, and around 1.5hrs for transfer. (cost: P620.00 + P180.00 + P100.00 = P900.00)
Wouldn't it be great if there's a bullet train to Borongan costing you P1000.00 for a travel duration of 4hrs? Why I'm saying this? Because in Japan, if you travel from Narita Airport which is located near Tokyo up to Miyagi in the North, it would only take 4hrs to arrive into the City. It's a little costly though... but then it is a route that would pass thru major cities along the way.
Just Imagine...
