The right side of the Road

NHK Building - Osaka City, Japan

They say that when you see a lot of people going into the opposite direction with where you are going. You are probably on the wrong side of the road. When a lot of people are leaving the company you're working with, is it time to think about what is happening? When we look around, we try to adjust to our environment. We do what we think others are doing, aside from really understanding what is happening. I think we subconsciously mimic others without thought.

But then, more often, we think rationally and really know the reasons why we should not be where we are currently. We gather data and with intelligent reasoning, filters out what is right from what is not right. Management might skip discussing sensitive topics, but employees who are resolved to go won't hear anymore reason than to go where they feel it is a better place. Corporate leaders won't listen to the small voices of a company as "small staff" won't listen to the sweet words of those leaders. Simply put, the truth can be felt not listened to. The truth can be observed, and not fabricated or whitewashed. Just like a little disturbance on a waters surface, creating bigger ripples as it goes farther away...
